About me
I was born in England and grew up in South Florida. When I graduated college, I was given three Feng Shui books as gifts. I started looking at work and living spaces differently. My interests quickly expanded into the art of organization and the seed for Simply Organized was planted.
When I lived in Colorado, I was the American Red Cross Emergency and Disaster Services Director and Volunteer Coordinator. I set a up system for our staff and thousands of volunteers so they could quickly access large quantities of supplies during disasters. I learned to efficiently use resources while staying organized.
I began traveling around the country to help friends set up their homes or de-clutter and create systems for staying organized. Helping people in the midst of chaos find a system is very rewarding, I truly enjoy making homes more organized, more enjoyable and easier to manage. If you have little (or big) stacks and piles of paper, clothes, toys, sports equipment and clutter around your home or work space it can be distracting and stressful. I strive to create order and simplicity so you can be efficient and feel relaxed. When everything has a place, it makes finding things easier and cleaning up faster.
I understand how challenging it is to juggle life gracefully. I have an 11 year old son and an 9 year old daughter who love keeping my husband and me on our toes. I love order and balance. I believe less is always more and whenever possible choose quality over quantity. My philosophy is "keep it simple". My satisfaction comes from wowing you with my knack for painlessly streamlining your home and your life. With a little help you can have a Simply Organized life.
Warmly,
Monica
